I invest in climate and sustainability companies at Amasia, a thesis-driven global venture capital firm I co-founded in 2013. I’ve been a VC investor for more than 30 years. I began my career at General Atlantic, was an early partner at Insight Partners, went on to co-manage TH Lee Putnam Ventures and then co-founded Kubera Partners. I led my first investments in Asia and Europe near the start of my career which shaped my global perspective and informs much of what I do today. I chair the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. I am a member of the board of Goodwill San Francisco Bay. I serve on the Advisory Council of the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University. I have been the seed funder and board member of several NGOs over the years and remain closely associated with Magic Bus, an NGO that works with 500,000 at-risk children in South Asia. I have a B.S.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, a B.S. in Economics, and a Master of Liberal Arts, all from Penn, and I am enrolled in the Master of Liberal Arts program at Stanford.
