Angel Chia is currently the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy. Previous she was the Chair of the Family Office Association Hong Kong (“FOAHK”). Established in 2020, FOAHK is an industry association for professional Family Offices. With more than 50 SFO/MFO/EAMs as members, FOAHK represents the voice of the Family Office industry in engaging stakeholders including government bodies, service providers, academic institutions and family principals to promote a higher standard of practice.

Angel is also the the Founder of NexGenerator Pte Ltd, a family office accelerator that educates and equips Family Next-Gens to become better informed principals of their own Single Family Offices.

Angel has accumulated 20 years of experience in the financial industry, ranging from securities dealing to asset management in Taipei, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. She has worked for Solomon Smith Barney, ABN Amro and BNP Paribas. She set up the Singapore office for Chinese brokerage Shenwan Hongyuan (000166.CH) and managed the Chinese firm’s offshore asset management business in HK and Singapore. She was the CEO of EAM SingAlliance (Hong Kong) Limited and Chief Strategy Officer of MFO Fountainhead Partners.

Angel holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University of Toronto and a MBA with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
