A climate-tech investor and ecosystem builder, Guneet Banga leads Parinama Group in transforming
India’s strengths into scalable global climate solutions.
Guneet Banga is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Parinama Group, a climate technology
platform built to harness India’s strengths to develop scalable global solutions at the intersection of
emerging markets and sustainable development.
In early 2026, he began structuring a unified Parinama entity that brings together the assets of Caravel
Sustainable Investments under Parinama International Investment, the onshore venture-building and
advisory activities of Parinama Group in India, and Parinama Ecosystem Development, which is building
a pan-Indian and global climate ecosystem to enable standards, scale, and capital.
He holds GRI and PRI professional certifications and completed the ESG Specialization Program from
the Corporate Finance Initiative. He has pursued advanced ESG and impact investing education through
programs at Cambridge, Harvard, and other leading institutions.
His work has been recognised through distinctions including being named one of the “Top AI Visionary
Business Leaders in India” by CEOInsights in 2025 and the Times of India Vision World Academy’s
“Global Visionary – Impact and Sustainability Icon” in 2023. Guided by the belief that climate solutions
must emerge from the needs of the communities most affected, he drives sustainability through
investment, collaboration, and advocacy.
Until 2024, he served as both GP and LP at Aera VC—recognized by the World Economic Forum in 2023
as one of its “Most Innovative Funds for the Future”—and remains a shareholder, board member, and
investor today.
Previously, Mr. Banga was Vice President in Citi’s Capital Markets Origination division, overseeing equity
and equity-linked transactions across India, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.
He is an active contributor to global climate-finance platforms, serving on the Board of the Sustainable
Finance Initiative in Hong Kong and participating in the World Economic Forum’s Impact Circle, the Global
Impact Investing Network, and the Rocky Mountain Institute’s Solutions Council.
Mr. Banga holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton School and an AB in
Economics with certificates in East Asian Studies and Finance from Princeton University, where he is a
member of the President’s Circle.
He remains engaged across several global communities, including the Sustainable Finance Initiative
(HK), RMI’s Global Solutions Committee, Princeton University’s President’s Circle, the World
Economic Forum Impact Circle, and Impact’s Mental Health Investment and CVC working groups.
