Samuel Richards is the Managing Director of Brightlight, where he serves on the board and investment committee. He leads the development of impact investment solutions, sets strategic direction, and builds partnerships with investors, agencies, and non-profits.

Before joining Brightlight, Samuel was Chief Operating Officer for Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Over his 15-year career with Goldman Sachs, he gained deep expertise in strategy development and execution across the Asia-Pacific region. Driven by a passion for values-based investing, Samuel joined Brightlight to align his skills with his convictions. He works with clients to harmonize their values with their investments—believing this approach creates meaningful, positive global impact.
