Khailee Ng is a managing partner at U.S. venture capital firm 500 Global. His firm manages over $2.8 Billion dollars of assets in high-growth tech startups in over 81 countries.

He has personally led more than 180 seed investments in Southeast Asian tech startups, being an early investor in companies like Grab, Carousell, Bukalapak, Carsome, Prenetics, FinAccel, and other regional champions.

Prior to 500, he was the founder of Groupsmore (acquired by Groupon) and Malaysia’s largest online media company, (acquired by Media Prima).

As new technology and evolving consumer landscapes continue to disrupt industries, Khailee focuses on discovering patterns of economic opportunity and backing the entrepreneurs who realize them. His investment activity and commentaries on industry trends have been featured in The Economist, Financial Times, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, Wall Street Journal, CNBC and Fortune.

He and his wife, Elisa Khong, journey through creating impact via a tech-driven, entrepreneurial approach, incorporating media, venture building, and impact investing and philanthropy.
