SFi IMPACT SUMMIT 2026 PROGRAMME
CAPITAL IN ACTION | IMPACT IN MOTION

The SFi Impact Summit brings together Asia Pacific’s leading family offices, asset owners and ecosystem builders to turn purpose-driven capital into tangible outcomes for people and planet.
Under the theme “Capital in Action | Impact in Motion” this year’s agenda moves beyond ideas and intentions into real strategies, structures and collaborations.
Across keynotes, debates, thematic salons and curated networking, we explore how capital can be deployed boldly yet thoughtfully in uncertain times, how regional insights can shape global solutions, and how each investor can translate conviction into concrete commitments and sustained momentum for change.

Capital & Impact: Legacy, Leverage, and Real Talk
For many impact-minded asset owners, building a sustainable portfolio is framed as a natural extension of legacy. In reality, the shift from operating success to scalable impact strategy is complex — and full of trade-offs.
Our panel of experienced impact capital deployers, bring a candid lens to what impact investing is — and is not — for private capital owners.
The conversation will examine the true advantage of patient capital, the line between catalytic and concessionary investing, and how governance, NextGen leadership, and institutional discipline shape credible impact strategies. Less rhetoric, more rigour – and an honest look at how private capital owners can scale impact without diluting accountability.

SHIFTING GEARS
10:55 – 11:45
Inside the mind of an Impact CIO
Bridging conviction with reality – that is the central challenge facing impact investment leaders today. As markets reset and volatility lingers, CIOs are reassessing risk, liquidity and long-term return expectations across their portfolios. This candid conversation gets inside the decision-making room: how do you balance idealism with fiduciary responsibility when headwinds mount? Where are leaders leaning in or pulling back, and what gives them the conviction to back emerging managers, new geographies or innovative structures at a time of uncertainty?
Panellists will share how they build internal buy-in, the trade-offs they actually make, and what it really takes to turn impact commitments into capital deployment – with rigour and accountability.
11:45 – 12:15
Reality Check: Impact at the Crossroads
As capital flows shift, philanthropy evolves, and markets deepen across the Asia Pacific region, investors are grappling with a pressing question: What must impact investing become next? As Asia steps into greater financial influence, can it define impact investing on its own terms – and scale it with both rigour and relevance?
This is a moment for sharper additionality and greater discipline – and for a more fundamental rethink of how capital serves communities and climate across Asia Pacific’s diverse, fast-changing markets.
Join ImpactAlpha’s Jessica Pothering in conversation with Annie Chen (RS Group) and Sana Kapadia (Heading for Change) as they explore what the next chapter of purpose-driven capital in Asia Pacific demands – and who it must ultimately serve.

Salon 2: Accelerating Your Family's Journey as a NextGen
Getting your family to join, shift or accelerate the impact investing and philanthropy journey you've begun as a NextGen can be challenging. This session, facilitated by specialists from Barclays who have inspired, engaged, and connected hundreds of families on similar journeys, will provide insights from their experience, tools you can adopt, and a chance to hear and learn from your peers. Designed for family members who want support to assess likely obstacles and to be better equipped to overcome them, it clarifies how you can increase your influence within your family, and beyond.
Salon 3: Ocean Impact Across the Capital Spectrum
Oceans underpin climate stability, food security, and economic resilience — yet remain significantly undercapitalised. This interactive Salon convenes funders spanning philanthropy, catalytic capital, blended finance, and impact investing to examine how capital across the spectrum can be strategically aligned. Participants will explore how to sequence funding, share risk, and unlock scalable solutions — mobilising larger pools of capital to accelerate a regenerative and resilient blue economy.

This Salon will explore the evolving impact investing landscape across South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong as a lens into the broader development of an East Asia–based impact ecosystem. The discussion will examine regional trends, shared challenges, and emerging opportunities for cross-border collaboration. Expanding beyond these markets, it will also consider how East Asia connects with and contributes to the wider Asia Pacific impact investing community, highlighting pathways for deeper regional integration and ecosystem building.
15:05 – 16:20
Workshop Salons: Thematic Trends & Challenges
Salon 5: Values-Aligned Investment Framework: Integrating Faith and Purpose in Family Office Portfolios
A practical and interactive framework designed for family offices, faith-aligned investors, and institutional stewards exploring how to translate deeply held values into investment practice. This session bridges timeless principles of stewardship with modern portfolio implementation, providing practical frameworks alongside real-world stories from family offices navigating values alignment. Participants will learn systematic approaches to values-based capital allocation, ways to integrate both impact and financial objectives, measurement aligned with faith principles, and actionable strategies for whole-of-portfolio alignment across asset classes and generations.
Salon 6: Unlocking Markets Through Collective Catalytic Capital
This Salon will examine the understated power of aligned investors whose individual commitments, intentionally structured and aggregated, can form vehicles able to absorb risk, send credible market signals, and unlock significantly larger flows of capital.
Through a nuanced conversation on blended finance, shared standards, and cross-sector collaboration, we will explore how coordinated pools of purpose-driven capital can shift incentives, widen access in overlooked markets, and catalyse durable, inclusive, climate-aligned growth at meaningful scale.
Salon 7: Blended Finance in Practice: How Philanthropy Unlocks Social Investment
Increasingly, the most urgent question in strategic philanthropy is not just what to fund, but how philanthropic capital can unlock far greater flows of capital for impact. This session explores how next-generation philanthropists can leverage their resources beyond grant-making, but as catalytic capital that can absorb risk, strengthen organisations, and unlock investment through tools such as first-loss capital, guarantees, impact funds, and ecosystem building.
Bringing together leaders from across the field – including practitioners working at the intersection of philanthropy and social investment — the conversation will examine how funders can move beyond traditional giving to design capital stacks that drive systems change. Speakers will explore the tensions and opportunities involved, moving beyond feel-good philanthropy to interrogate what rigorous, effective, and equitable capital deployment looks like in practice.
