G. Li & Company

Marshall is the Executive Director and Principal of G. Li & Company. Growing up from a family business setting, he has come across many sizable conflicts and has always been passionate about setting alignments and building growth for family businesses. With over 15 years of experience in the family advisory and education industry, Marshall spearheaded multiple projects for the first listed education company as the Vice President of Asia Pacific, including his involvement in the biggest international school acquisition deal in history of ~HK$4 Billion, of the Canadian International School in Singapore and later HK$432M acquisition of the Kingsley International school in Malaysia.

Marshall left his family business in 2019 to pursue a journey in family business research and advisory with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Centre for Family Business in the capacity of a Project Director. His research focuses primarily on Succession Planning, NxGen Learning and Development, Business Family Leadership, Corporate Governance and Entrepreneurship.

Outside of his advisory work, Marshall has been an INED for Canadian International School in Singapore and Kingsley International School in Malaysia, a committee member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) Asia and Africa Committee and HKGCC Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and a committee member of the Education and Youth Develop of Home Affairs Department (Kowloon City District).

Marshall continues his involvement in Education as he lectures about Family Business, Corporate Governance and Entrepreneurship at CUHK and HKUST
